Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. 2 Volumes. Sidonia von Borcke was a noblewoman who was tried and executed for witchcraft. This, the fictionalised account of her life, was translated into English by Lady Wilde (Oscar's mother) in the mid 19th century. A very nice copy. Both volumes are present, pages are very good with no real markings or foxing at all, save for a tanned FEP on each volume. Other than that, just age wear to edges. No inscriptions. Bindings are tight. Boards are very nice, complete and just minor shelfwear. And a little corner crumpling. Original flashing on front covers still very present. A really good set. See photos which are as ever of the actual copy for sale.
