George had a BA from Acadia (1915) and studied at the Havard Divinity School for a year.In 1918, during the Battle of Amiens, he was gassed and severely wounded .he was awarded the Military Cross for his part in setting up an advance dressing station while under fire, his health suffered due to war and he died 5 years after the Armistice.this book "Apres la Guerre" was published in 1925 after his death (he died as a result of his war wounds in 1923) Size: Sq.8vo.,(21cm.).
