Description :

263 pages, cloth, dj, very good. From the dj: anyone who believes The U.S. Navy's Humanitarian Board is manned exclusively by sailors who know about sailors' problems as only sailors can, and because of this, the Board is more compassionate toward sailors, is in for a rude awakening. Against All Enemies, Foreign and Domestic is a portrayal of the abuses of the navy's humanitarian board and the reassignment section. This is a fast-paced, smoothly written book with a plot line that fairly gallops along and makes for enjoyable reading. More important, it gives us an insider's view of a scene totally unknown to the American people. Richard Crowe has dedicated many long years of service to the U.S. Navy. As a Master Chief Opticalman, he wrote orders for all the opticalmen, instrumentmen, patternmakers, olders, machinery repairmen chiefs, senior chiefs, and master chiefs. Prior to working in this position, he was stationed on the submarine tender, U.S.S. Orion, in Charleston, South Carolina, and was in charge of the submarine periscope shop at a submarine base in Connecticut. N° de réf. du libraire 18337
