This book is a collection of stories including the novella 'The Bone Forest', which precedes events in 'Mythago Wood'. A novel in Holdstock's Ryhope Wood series, it explores the idea of a patch of primal English woodland in which figures of myth take solid form. Robert Paul Holdstock (1948-2009), was an English novelist and author best known for his works of Celtic, Nordic, Gothic and Pictish fantasy literature, predominantly in the sub genre of mythic fiction. Sadly he died in hospital at the age of only 61, following his collapse with an E. coli infection. Classic fantasy fiction. Quite a scarce book. N° de réf. du libraire 004294
