Anvers; Verdussen, 1622, title with woodcut coat of arms vignette , 48 nn pp (A-F4) (French text of the ordinance, with woodcut illustrations of coins. Bound with ; Ordonnantie ende placcaet des Conincx inhoudende 't verbodt vande goudt=guldens van Duytschlandt / ende van eenighe andere numten (sic = munten). Contemporary vellum binding with title label on spine, title pages a bit dustsoiled and thumbed, a waterstain at the outer margin of the last pages of the first imprint, signature E4 printed on a slightly defected leaf with small loss of paper but still a fine/good copy. Most of these books were extensively used by money changers who carried them during their business, so fine copies are very hard to find. Rare convolute of three numismatic works with lists of valid and unvalid currencies in the Southern Netherlands. As Antwerp was still one of the largest commercial towns in Europe at the beginning of the 17th century coins from all over Europe are depicted; e.g. Castile, Aragon, Portugal, Milan, Rome, Mantua, Florence, Savoye, Austria, Tyrole, Hungary, Bohemia, Poland.France, Northern Netherlands, Germany.Some of the illustrations .
