SCARCE 1ST EDITION. 487pp. Hardback - 1939 with 16 maps and plans all present. Green cloth boards with gilt titles to spine are poor. Marked and faded, especially to spine. Small splits to edges of spine in places. One larger split (4cm) to head of spine at rear. Bumps to corners and spine. Pages edges are grubby. Internally good overall. Right front endpaper has been partially removed, lightly tanned throughout. Binding is firm but gutter has cracked and webbing partially visible in a few places. Some occasional, very neat pencil marks and annotations (including to rear endpaper) although some Biro underlining to pgs 24, 25 and 26. Small, embossed college library stamp to title page. Maps and plans are very good; clean, neatly folded and firmly attached. A good copy of a rare volume. Price reflects condition. Please email for condition pics if required. Aditional postage charges will apply. Size: Octavo. N° de réf. du libraire 005371
