Description du livre London, Longmans, Green and Co. 1904, 1904. Adventure fiction. FIRST EDITION. Octavo, 361 pages with 2 pages of adverts. Bound in gilt-titled blue/grey cloth, black endpapers. Some edge spotting, foxing to first and final leaves, slightly cocked, minor shelfwear; very good indeed. 'He discovered the figure of Stella seated in her accustomed place by the desolate-looking stone altar, whereon stood the box containing the aerophone that they had used in their experiments'.
