Spine has visible tanning with moderate crushing to edges. Boards have noticeable corner bumping and edge-wear overall. Lettering remains bright and clear.

Hardcover. Etat : G. 1st Edition. First edition bound in red cloth with black spine lettering. 12mo (7.5 0 X 5.00") size, 288 pages. A Good+ copy. The front board has two, 4" to 5" diagonal creases. The rear board has a bump/crease near the bot tom left corner. The spine tips and corners are slightly rubbed. Bumps to the lower front corners. The contents are clean, tight and unmarke d. A scarce Suspense-Adventure type novel taking place in Pakistan. De llbridge was a pseudonym used by Frederick Joseph De Verteuil (1887-19 63)who was a native of Trinidad and author of several mystery and adve ntures novels. Although not in Hubin this novel seems to fall in the m ystery-suspense category.

A serious tale following the invention of a peace-keeping aircraft, full of conspiracy, fighting, and scheming, with a hint of Pax Aeronautica idealism in the story. Written by Frederick Joseph de Verteuil, under the pen name of John Dellbridge, a Trinidad-born British author and barrister. In the original quarter orange cloth with grey cloth boards. Externally, very smart with minor rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark. Original unclipped dust wrapper is sound with light wear and chipping to the extremities. Light loss to the head of the spine with the odd small closed tear to the extremities. A 1" closed tear to the rear panel. Sunning to the spine with the odd small mark to the panels. A price sticker to the front panel. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Light scattered spotting to the first and last few pages. Very Good. book.
