Frontispiece is portrait of the 4 navigators. Contents in 4 parts with coloured Map & copy of orig title page "The World Encompassed. Sir Francis Drake"; "A New Voyage Round The World. William Dampier"; "A Voyage Round The World. George Anson"; "Cook's Voyages Round The World." 3 folding coloured maps in very good condition, 4th map good, but with tear to one of the folds. To sum up, in very good condition, no foxing etc., one map with fold tear. Small marks inside covers where something has been removed. Size approx 19 x 12cm wide.

He obtained a charter of the Barony in New Galloway' in Nova Scotia on Nov. 8, 1621, and a further grant of Charles Island on May 1, 1626, from which date he is reckoned a Baronet of Nova Scotia."
