The emphasis of this book is not so much on training as on actual flying at wild quarry in the field. Author's second book. Illustrated by D. M. Henry and G. E. Lodge. Illustrated with 12 beautiful full color plates including the frontispiece, all plates retain their tissue guards. Additional illustrations include line drawings and black and white plates of hoods. Illustrations clean and bright. Spine is slightly slanted. Minor edge wear. All corners very gently bumped. Top of spine bumped. Light wearing and age spotting along head edges of boards. Some age spotting and foxing to edges of pages. Text is clean. Dust jacket has normal edge and shelf wear. Small creases and tears on corners and spine ends. Upper half of spine is slightly worn (titles are faded) with small hole on the edge. 1/2-inch tear with crease on head edge of back cover. Head edges of covers are worn.
