Etat : Good. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. Presumed First Edition, but no remarks. Floral patterned paper covered boards, with blue cloth spine. Some chipping to the board edges and corners. Light foxing throughout and expected signs of tanning to the textblock edges, but overall this copy is pleasantly clean and sound for it's age, with crisp and unfaded print and a sturdy binding. A whimsical book filled with beautiful illustrations often based on the artist's own children. Ida Rentoul Outhwaite inspired a number of artists including Edith Alsop and Ethel Spowers, and her work has been honoured on a postage stamp and depicted in stained glass windows at St. Mark's Anglican Church in Fitzroy, Victoria.
