Front endpaper is missing. Light cracking to front hinge, with exposed netting. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Book has noticeable forward lean. Clipped jacket has light edge wear with minor tears and chipping. Moderate tanning and creasing, with rubbing and marking.

Cloth. Etat : Good. No Jacket. Red cloth Title on spine is gilt, the top edge is red. The cover has bumped corners and there is shelf wear on front edge and spine, there is a crack to spine that is about 1 ½ inches from bottom edge and there are a couple of chips to spine and cover, down to the cloth. There is some foxing mostly toward the front pages the cover has been sun struck with another books inprint. On the end paper there is a bookplate, which says, "Presented by The Education Authority of the County of West Lothian as a memento of the Coronation of Their Majesties King George VI. And Queen Elizabeth 12th May 1937" There are 33 black and white photographs throughout the book, one of which is the marriage certificate of the Queen and King 127pp.
