There are 28 colour photographic plates, many of these are detailed ones of wing feathers, head shape, beaks etc. There is a glossary, a detailed reference section and an index. 288pp This monograph describes in great detail all aspects of the Gyrfalcon with chapters including the Identification , distribution, habitat, breeding etc.
