Paperback. Find text through p.38, followed by eight full page b&w plates, a small softbound item in 8.5x5.5 inch printed wraps (cardstock covers with a wraparound jacket). Worn copy, wraps have short splits at top and tail of spine, mild dust-soil and sunning. Textblock has a slightly bumped corner-tip, graphics unaffected. A good (good-only) copy. Author Turnbull argues that general Australian mediocrity has let a few flowers bloom. "The National Gallery in Sidney," he scoffs, "remains, largely, a chamber of horrors to this day.".
