Book has minimal wear to bottom extremities. Jacket has some creasing along top edge; a couple of tiny marks externally; and some foxing or similar marks internally.

Light age toning of the text block edges. There is a printing fault to the front paste-down -- there is a 'crease' that runs from the top left-hand corner down to the middle of the lower book edge. Colour illustrated dustwrapper, being the reproduction of the W. Handcock painting of 'T.W. Wills', done in 1870, against a green background with gold titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing and creasing to the dustwrapper edges and there is rubbing to the dustwrapper panels. Fading to the backstrip. Some of the treasures that are held at the Melbourne Cricket Club.
