Hardcover. Etat : Good. Etat de la jaquette : Good. 1st Edition. True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (5s). Spare paper label to back. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, few marks, severe browning, one small (approx. 1cm) tear to back upper edge, a couple of other very small (approx. 2mms) tears, fading/browning to spine, a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine and to corners, little dustiness/minor foxing, very small patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), scratch/scrape to back, little pushing/bumping to corners and is in only good condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with fading to spine, a hint of pushing to corners, the odd very small mark and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Previous owner's name and date in pen to front end-paper. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/mild foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Inside boards/end-papers tanned with the odd small mark/little dustiness/minor foxing. Occasional small mark/scattered foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately.
