Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Staining to some pages, text remains readable. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends.

Top fore-corner tips are lightly knocked. A couple of light scratch marks to the text block edges. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has some staining on rear panel, which is also generally soiled. Some rub wear to the folds and edges. Spine and corners have some paper and colour loss. Still quite presentable. Not price clipped. A story of Biggles the Air Detective. In this one Biggles, Ginger, Algy and Bertie take on a job in the Indian Ocean. Illustrated with four colour plates.

All illustrations are present and in very good condition. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, a few small (largest approx. 1cm) tears, few marks, patchy creasing/rubbing to edges, small ticks in pen to back to other titles, very small patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), a few small patches of wear where top (picture) surface has worn away, little crinkling, staining to reverse (white side) where old damp marks exist, patchy browning (including to spine), little creasing/rubbing to front/back inner flaps, a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, little pushing/bumping to corners and is in only fair condition. Boards are very good (having been generally well protected by the jacket) with a few old white damp marks, a hint of pushing to corners and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages slightly tanned. Old damp mark to lower corner/edge/bottom edge of pages. Very occasional other small marks to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

Dustwrapper has light edgewear with rubbing and couple of tiny nicks to spine ends. Book 47 in the Biggles series which involves an exciting case of piracy off the Nicobar Islands in the Indian Ocean. [520: D2].
