NICE PROVENANCE: a) from the library and with the dated signature (April 7, 1944) of Clinton Adams (1918 - 2002), American artist, painter, lithographer and and art historian, co-author of 'The Tamarind Book of Lithography', and author of 'American Lithographers'; b) From the library and with the signatures (on top and foredge) of Jan Stussy (1922-1990), noted artist and Academy Award-winning filmmaker. 'Stussy, a West Coast artist with works in many museums and private collections. was a former chairman of the art department at UCLA and the first artist to be appointed as a senior professor by the university. Although he was primarily known as a prolific painter, with some 5,000 works to his credit, Mr. Stussy frequently worked in other artistic arenas. ''Gravity Is My Enemy,'' a film he produced and directed, won an Academy Award in 1977 as best documentary' (New York Times). THAT HAS COLOR OFFSET TO VERSO OF JACKET, WEAR TO THE SPINE EDGES, NOT PRICE-CLIPPED, AND A FEW EDGE TEARS. A VERY NICE CLEAN AND TIGHT COPY AND THE D.J. IS STILL PRESENTABLE. FIRST EDITION.
