This copy is bright, tight, white and square. The unclipped dust wrapper is in new condition. International postal rates are calculated on a book weighing 1 Kilo, in cases where the book weighs more than 1 Kilo increased postal rates will be quoted, where the book weighs less then postage will be reduced accordingly. o enjoy this story you have to accept a number of premises: a) That a village school can have pupils of varying ages in one class with only one teacher, who puts the spare key where pupils can find it b) If that teacher is ill, no replacement will be found, c) That in those circumstances all the pupils will be allowed to walk unsupervised to the next village to be taught at the school there. Accept all that and you'll probably guess what the story is about - instead of walking to the next village the kids go to their own school, let themselves in and take it in turns at being teacher. Great stuff, let's hope the parents don't find out! Ref CC 7.

This is uncomfortable and he soon realizes that unless he wants to be completely ignored by them for the rest of the term, he will have to pull his weight in the school, particularly in doing his best to be upgraded to the higher rank of chorister. Preparation for a bonfire for the school's Guy Fawkes' Day also take their part and Sandy emerges accepted again .".
