Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Visible wear and ring marks to boards.

Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. Etat de la jaquette : Good. 1st Edition. In a green cloth hardcover with gilt titles to spine. With an unclipped colour pictorial dust jacket with white titles to spine and front. 256 pp. with a colour plate to the frontispiece, 15 black and white plates and 22 text figures. The book is in very good condition with only a trace of shelf-wear to the cover. The boards are slightly bowed but the binding is tight. There is faint offsetting to the feps, otherwise the pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket is good with generally very light shelf-wear to the extremities, however there is a 1" x .4" chip to the top edge of the front; the spine and the edges of the flaps are sunned.
