No date on title page. Copyright page dated 1998. Two pictorial sections with B&W photographs printed on glossy paper. 52 B&W political cartoons throughout the book. 562 pages. Pages are clean, crisp, and bright, mild uniform toning. Signed by author in blue ink on title page under his printed name, inscribed to Chris Sterling and dated February 2004. This copy includes various newspaper clippings about the book itself and adjacent topics. It also has a small softcover staple-bound book with the text of a lecture the author gave on Churchill at the University of London in 1996. Previous owner's name written in red ink on front free endpaper. Overall a very nice copy. This is an oversized book, so extra shipping will be necessary for priority or international shipping. This volume comes from the Churchill collection of Prof. Chris Sterling. Sterling was a passionate collector, author, and member of several Churchill Societies.
