Synopsis
A novel of gripping psychological suspense, where the fear presents a dramatic contrast to the excellently drawn family life. Novelist Emma Roth moves from the city with her scientist husband and football mad son into an isolated Victorian house near a suburban town. An author of ghost stories, Emma has no belief in the supernatural until inexplicable things begin to happen. Through her computer strange messages are given, her manuscript is rewritten, her son seems to be threatened, and a past tragedy seems to hover over the present.
