Ian Richardson is an Ofsted Inspector and a member of the Centre for Research into Primary Science and Technology at Liverpool University. He also works with QCA on the KS3 National Tests.

Steve Goldsmith has been a Chief Marker for Key Stage 3 Science and Principal Support Officer for Science at QCA. He is now a senior LEA Adviser.
