The powerful Resource and Records Manager Tool is designed to help teachers find just the right guided reading title quickly and easily by using the search facilities within a database.
• Comprehensive book details are provided, at a click of a button, to inform your selection of the best resource for your guided-reading session.
• Themes give a concise description of the book's content - perfect for identifying possible cross-curricular links.
• Learning objectives are listed in the book details of every title.
• Book details can be edited to suit the class'/group's needs. It's easy to add, modify and delete details - so the resource manager can truly reflect your experience of using the Collins Big Cat books. Use the Comments field to store tips and reminders for use of individual titles.
• Add other guided-reading books (from other series) to the resources manager to simplify management of all your guided-reading titles.
• When new titles appear in the series, the database can be easily updated.

With 40 years experience in Primary Education, Doug is now an independent ICT consultant working on all aspects of enhancing teaching and learning with ICT. A primary PGCE lecturer at Leicester University School of Education, Doug has also written a number of guides, training modules, books and training materials on primary ICT.

cd_rom. Etat : Good. Our good condition books are generally good for reading but not for gifting or collecting. They could have imperfections such as creasing, fanning, inscriptions, margin notes, yellowing, staining on edge or cover or pages, bumps, scuffs, etc etc (sometimes multiple of these). It's a wide category that encompasses anything that isn't almost-new down to anything that is slightly better than poor. We would NOT recommend gifting Good books - these should be considered reading copies. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.
