Kamini and Kirk Thomas met while touring the ancient temples of Southeast Asia and have done much research into Eastern spirituality and its relationship to sexual practices, including tantric sex. Kirk is a freelance journalist and illustrator. His wife Kamini, a social psychologist, has worked on numerous publications including books on tantric love, partner yoga, and sexual massage. She has lived and worked in India, learning Hindi and immersing herself in its rich and vibrant culture. She became interested in the Kama Sutra while visiting erotic sculptures at Khajuraho. Kamini and Kirk live in Bath, England.
