Ephraim Borowski has a first class honours degree in mathematics and philosophy from Glasgow University, where he became Head of the Philosophy Department.
Jon Borwein is Shrum Professor of Science at Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, and is also the Director oif Centre for Experimental and Constructive Mathematics. He is also President of the Canadian Mathematical Society.
