Annie Proulx was born in Connecticut in 1935, is the author of four novels and three collections of short stories, and has won the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award and the Irish Times International Prize, among others.

All three are first printings in what was claimed to be a limited edition of 750 copies, but this fact is not obvious, and I cannot find any reference to confirm this.
