À propos de l?auteur

Ellis Bacon spent 20 years as a full-time cycling journalist, working on British magazines including Procycling, Cycling Weekly, Cycle Sport, Cyclist and the UK’s Official Tour de France Guide, as well as writing about the sport for a number of newspapers, including The Times and The Observer.

He was also co-editor of The Cycling Anthology book series, and translated Tour de France winner and Saxo Bank manager Bjarne Ris's autobiography from Danish into English.

Ellis grew up in the UK, but has also lived in Denmark, France and the USA. Since moving to Australia, he has worked as the Australian editor at Cyclingnews, as a journalist at the ABC and has covered the Tour Down Under multiple times, and now works as a high-school French teacher, shoehorning the Tour de France into lessons as often as possible.
