Some of the big proponents of the system included : Anthony Miles, Tigan Petrosian , Raul Capablanca, and Garry Kasparov - not to mention the senior author himself. You will also encounter tournament games between Gaprindashvil & Ioseliani, Portisch & Sosonko, and Vaganian & Karpov. Chess boards and game notations make up 90 % of the book with the rest reserved for commentary. Cond ; Paper wrapper is light grey with green lettering and decoration. Cover graphic shows 3 pawns, two rooks and a knight. Very little edge wear. Volume is tight, bright and clean. One game has a minor bit of marginalia. No names, no tears. Excellent reference !! Quote (p. 58) : " So Karpov suffered his second and last defeat of that match, but after three more draws he had won the match and began his eleven year reign as a World Champion. " Size: 12mo.
