ETHICS: THEORY AND PRACTICE was first published in 1977 and now is into its SEVENTH EDITION. The book is about evenly divided into the two title topics, theory and practice, so that students are not only enlightened on ethical theory, but are encouraged to apply the learned theory to specific ethical problems (e.g. taking human life; lying, cheating, stealing, and breaking promises; business and environmental ethics, and bioethics, etc.). This book is very student- and instructor-friendly in that:

• The information it contains is very accessible because the language is clear and free from jargon.
• Every chapter has objectives stated at the beginning and a summary at the end.
• Chapters on theory have review and discussion questions.
