Robert Meier, Ph.D. is Indiana University Chancellor's Professor of Anthropology, where his teaching career spans over 30 years. He has worked at many field sites in Alaska and on Easter Island in the Polynesia researching anthropometry (body measurements), blood group genetics, and dermatoglyphics (fingerprints). Dr. Meier has served on the editorial board of the American Journal of Physical Anthropology, and previously served as president of the American Dermatoglyphics Association.
