She has written many books for adults, teens, and children and is the author of Early Sunday Morning and My Brown Baby: On the Joys and Challenges of Raising African American Children. She is also the founder of mybrownbaby.com, a critically acclaimed blog that examines the intersection of parenting and race. Denene lives in Atlanta with her two daughters and their adorable Goldendoodle, Teddy.
