Dannion and Kathryn share their lives with six children between their homes in Nevada and South Carolina.

In 1975, Dannion Brinkley was struck and killed by lightning. When he awoke in a morgue twenty-eight minutes later, everything was forever changed. During this near-death experience, Brinkley was sent to heaven through a tunnel of light.
