Synopsis

Teddy the Dog has always been a one-of-a-kind dog, so it’s only fitting for him to compete in the Strut Your Mutt dog show. But when he arrives, it doesn’t turn out to be exactly what he expected. Who would want to sit and stay when you can jump and run?

Dog and cat lovers alike will delight in this hilarious sequel to Teddy the Dog, in which Teddy learns that winning doesn’t prove you’re the best. After all, we’re all best in our own show.

À propos des auteurs

Keri Claiborne Boyle has loved writing since she was your age. After years in business communications, she now gets to write for kids and think like a dog! She earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s from the University of Rochester. An avid triathlete and marathoner, she lives in suburban Boston with her husband and four children (three human, one canine), who serve—sometimes unknowingly—as the inspiration for much of her writing. This is her second children’s book.

When he was growing up, Jonathan Sneider’s appreciation for cartoons extended beyond the television and Sunday comics. He was often caught doodling creatures when he should have been doing his homework. Luckily, he made it out of the University of Vermont alive with a degree in studio art. Now, it truly is a dog’s life for Jon, designing in his hometown at the office of Teddy the Dog. He works alongside his dog, Honey, and some other talented people too! When Jon’s not in the office, Honey and he enjoy hiking, biking, and adventuring, just like Teddy the Dog. To see what Jon’s been up to lately, check out jonathansneider.com

À propos de la quatrième de couverture

Teddy’s always been a one-of-a-kind dog.

It’s only fitting for him to compete in the Strut Your Mutt dog show.

But when Teddy arrives at the show, it doesn’t turn out to be exactly what he expected. Who would want to sit and stay when you can jump and run?

Join Teddy as he learns that winning best doesn’t prove you’re the best. After all, we’re all best in our own show.

Teddy the Dog has loved kids (the kind without fur) since he was barely housebroken—especially when they drop food on the floor. His independent spirit has led him on a variety of adventures to encourage everyone to “Be Your Own Dog.” Teddy may or may not have been kicked out of obedience school and thinks cats are overrated. He has an affinity for bacon, mud puddles, and extra-long belly rubs. This is Teddy’s second picture book, the follow-up to his first book, Teddy the Dog. Someday, he hopes to lick the face of each and every one of his young fans. Visit Teddy online at www.teddythedog.com.
