Synopsis

This book explores how SAA (Systems Applications Architecture) can be implemented in a UNIX environment to provide optimum results. There is also an analysis of the components of SAA including common user access (CUA), common programming interface (CPI), communication support (CCS) and common applications and a study of recent UNIX features. The book also considers IBM's aims in initiating this project.
