Charles Belove was one of the great teachers in electrical engineering. After receving his Ph.D from Yale University,he become a professor and taught for 25v years at the Polytecnic Insitute of Brooklyn, tne New York Insitute of Technology and the Florida Atlantic University. Professor Belove wrote six text books and was editor-in-cheif of the Handbookof Modern Electronics and Engineering(1986) This text Contain 2400 pages dealing with all of the modern aspects of electrical engineering. Dr. Belove died in 1986.

Tuvia Apelewicz is the Director of Communication Systems at SCS Telcom Inc. He received his Ph.D in electrical engineering from the city University of the New York in 1978. He is Presently Leading a team of research scientist in the SCS Telcome development of a state-of-art digital signal processing moderm for commercial applications. In addition,he is a part-time associate professor at the New York Insitute of Technology. Dr. Tuvia Apelewicz began his research and development career in 1978 as a member of the technical staff at Bell Laborateries. He was also an assitant Professor in the Electrial Engineering Department at the City University of New York Prior to Joining SCS telecom. He was chief scientist at both Tadiran COrp. and Telkoor. Professor Apelewicz is a member of IEEE, Sigma Xi, Eta Kappa Nu, and Tau Beta Pi societies.

Raymond J. Saccardi has more than 15 years solid Exeperience with high-speed systems. Currently with the Department of Defense, he is a branch Chief responsible for in-house design and Construction of several, large, special purpose systems. These systems are implemented using microprocessors, high-speed ECL integrated circuits, custom VLSI, and high-speed 32-bit minicomputers. Mr. Saccardi teaches courses on computer architecture, minicomputers, and microprocessors for the Department of DEfense,at the University of Maryland where he is an adjucent professor. he is a member of IEEE, the IEEE COmputer Society, and Eta Kappa Nu.
