"Mechanics of Solids" is a text for the junior level course called Strength of Materials, Mechanics of Solids or Mechanics of Materials taken by civil, mechanical, mechanics and aerospace engineering students. It builds upon the background of a statics course and extends the analysis of the equilibrium of rigid bodies -to allow for the deformation of components.
