Ed Sobey, Ph.D., is president of the Northwest Invention Center and former director of five museums. He also produced and hosted ABC-TV's popular kids' science program, Idea Factory. Sobey is the author of several children's books, including Wacky Water Fun with Science, Just Plane Smart, Car Smarts, and Wrapper Rockets and Trombone Straws. Ed lives in Redmond, Washington.
