Jerry Cinnamon is Professor of Outdoor Recreation and Environmental Sciences at Unity College in Unity, Maine. He has climbed for more than 20 years and has served as a climbing club advisor for most of that time. He developed the Mountain Leadership Program within the Outdoor Recreation degree curriculum at Unity College and has run that program since 1980. He has also written about climbing for a number of publications.
