À propos de l?auteur

Kate Yeomans grew up on the northeast coast of Massachusetts where she lives on the banks of the Merrimack River. She has a degree in journalism from the University of New Hampshire (1995) and an MFA in creative nonfiction from Goucher College (1999). She also holds a Coast Guard 100-ton captain’s license (1993). Her photos and award-winning writing have appeared in Boston Magazine, Offshore, National Fisherman, the literary journal Creative Nonfiction, and other magazines. She was an editor at Offshore for four years and the senior editor of National Fisherman. A member of the Newburyport fishing community by birth and marriage, she has worked the decks of fishing vessels and has pursued this story for more than four years. This is her first book.
