As the president and founder of the nonprofit Foundation for Grandparenting, he has been called on by the U.S. Congress and the White House to advise on issues concerning grandparents. Referred to by Tom Brokaw as "the Dr. Spock of grandparenting," Dr. Kornhaber makes regular appearances in the media, including CNN and "Today."
