Janet Groene writes several columns that run monthly in Family Motor Coaching magazine (145,000 members of FMCA) and in Trailblazer (sent to members of Outdoors Resorts and other membership campgrounds.) Janet has loyal followers for her blogs on travel, RV cooking, boat cooking and SoloWomanRV. She holds the Distinguished Achievement in RV Journalism Award and is a member of the American Society of Journalists & Authors and the Society of American Travel Writers. She works fulltime as a freelance travel writer. She and her husband own a 21-foot, fully self-contained, diesel Class C motorhome.

Janet Groene has been a full-time freelance writer and author for thirty years. She is the co-author of Living Aboard Your RV, and author of many other titles. Additionally, she's the author of the long-running column Cooking on the Go for Family Motor Coaching magazine.
