Pyle is afrequent contributor to the huffi ngton Post and Space.com, as well as other space-related media outlets. His documentaries on NASA have appeared on the History Channel and other major television outlets. Pyle is a popular speaker whose radio interviews are heard worldwide.

Rod was formerly employed at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, CA, where he served in various capacities for over 10 years.
