Peter Schattner, MD, MMed, MBBS, FRACGP, is a GP and works part-time as an associate professor in the Department of General Practice. His main academic interests are in: teaching research methods, especially by distance education, through the Master of Family medicine program; supervising higher degree research students (Masters and PhD); conducting health service research (in primary care, and especially in chronic disease management); and promoting and conducting research into information management in general practice.
