About the book >.>.> The publication of this Catalogue of the library Malthus's heirs donated to his alma mater more than a century after his death is a preliminary step to the publication in microfiche of the full text of a large selection of the monographs which were the sources of information for his works.? Considering the scope of the library inherited from Malthus, it appeared from the outset that, prior to reproducing his references, publishing a catalogue of this library was a most desirable preliminary undertaking, useful both for research and for achieving the next step of our program. We have been most fortunate in this endeavour to have the understanding and invaluable help of Mr. D.J.V. Fisher, the Keeper of the Old Library at Jesus College. Mr. J. Harrison, formerly Senior Under-Librarian at Cambridge University College, had recently compiled the catalogue of the Malthus Collection, and agreed, at Mr. Fisher's suggestion, to prepare the Introductory Essay. The reading of Mr. Harrison's presentation is a must for the cons. N° de réf. du vendeur Batch-FM633-G-13155
