Présentation de l'éditeur

The road to George Foreman's acceptance and fame has not always run smoothly. In this candid autobiography, he recalls his difficult childhood; his gold-medal bout at the Mexico City Olympics in 1968; his stunning upset over Joe Frazier to win his first heavyweight title; and the loss to Muhammad Ali in the famous "Rumble in the Jungle" in Zaire.
Foreman describes his religious conversion after he retired from the ring a defeated man, a conversion that changed his life and led to a ministry in his own church in Texas. It was a desire to raise money for his beloved Houston Youth Center that brought Foreman back to boxing in 1994. Withstanding the doubts of the sports community, he proved once again he was a real champion by regaining the heavyweight crown at the age of forty-five.
