Synopsis

This reference book - one of the first of three volumes to launch the "Factsbook" series - contains entries on all CD molecules and all other sequenced molecules expressed on the surface of haematopoietic cells (white and red blood cells). Each entry has a common format, using a minimum amount of text, and contains information on the sequence, expression and Physicochemic properties. The book provides a catalogue of the basic properties of families of proteins and presents gene organization, amino acid sequences, physichochemical properties and biological activity in a straight-forward format.
