He was formerly technical leader at Taligent, Inc., where he worked on a leading-edge, object-oriented application development framework. He is also an independent consultant/trainer in the areas of object-oriented design and C++. He has more than fifteen years of experience with a broad range of operating systems, 00 architectures, and object-oriented languages (including C++, Smalltalk, Eiffel, and Modula-2). He is a well-known instructor for the University of California, Berkeley Extension program and is very popular for his depth of knowledge and natural flair for teaching. He has been programming with C++ since 1987.
