Biographie de l'auteur

K. Elayn Martin-Gay has taught mathematics at the University of New Orleans for more than 20 years and has received numerous teaching awards including the local University Alumni Association's Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Over the years, Elayn has developed a videotaped lecture series to help her students understand algebra better. This highly successful video material is the basis for her books: Basic College Mathematics, Second Edition; Prealgebra, Third Edition; Introductory Algebra, Second Edition; Intermediate Algebra, Second Edition; Algebra A Combined Approach, Second Edition; and her hardback series: Beginning Algebra, Third Edition; Intermediate Algebra, Third Edition; Beginning and Intermediate Algebra, Second Edition; and Intermediate Algebra: A Graphing Approach, Second Edition.
