Biographie de l'auteur
Alison Smith MBE is the founder of one the premier sewing schools in the UK, offering courses in all aspects of
sewing, including dressmaking, tailoring, and corsetry. She regularly lectures at specialized sewing shows and is a
contributor to Sewing World magazine. She is also the author of DK's Dressmaking. She is the first person to be
awarded an MBE (Member of the British Empire) honor for services to Sewing and Corsetry.
